I have blisters at the base of my big toes from wearing flats do I thought using these would be good. The top skin was already gone when I started using these things. While they do give a good cushion, they are so painful to take off. They do a weird thing where the "pad" kind of expands into the open wound and it's like it binds to the skin there so whenever you take it off it takes the skin with it (it hasn't taken any of the surrounding skin, yet). I don't wear them for prolonged periods of time either because by the time I get home it's peeling off. I'll still use them because they provide a good cushion for when I'm wearing flats, but I feel like it's going to take so much longer for it to heal. I would recommend them for people that are prone to getting blisters in certain areas when wearing shoes, but not to people that already have them.
