Ripped off skin

Review Questions:
State: Texas

Review Text:
So I went to the doctor yesterday to draw blood. They used this type of bandaid on the needle wound and the next day I decided to take it off. I've never felt such pain from ripping off a bandaid, since it's supposed to hurt less when you take it off fast. First thing I noticed was some shiny patches on the sticky side of the bandaid. A moment later, I made the horrifying realization that the clear stuff was in fact, my skin. I'm already terrified enough of needles, so the fact that I had to go through even more pain the following day made me very angry. I'll probably have scars now where my skin came off.

I had a blister on the back of my foot. I used one of these bandages for 8 hours. My foot started to itch where the bandage was and when I peeled it off my skin on both sides of my foot peeled off with it. Now I have a much bigger problem

Too much pain

Review Questions:
State: Minnesota

Review Text:
I had placed one of these bandages on the front of my shin where i had a cut that is in the process of healing. This morning I took it off before showering. This was a painful process I had never experienced before. When I finally was able to get the band aid off, I was horrified to see that my skin was black underneath. I will be calling my dermatologist. I don't know if it is bruised or what but I will never use this product again!

Will not use again

Review Text:
Made the mistake of leaving on for 3 days. The adhesive is so strong, it actually pulled some of my skin off along with the scab. It actually caused a bruise on my wife when trying to remove. Will not use again.

My favorite band-aid. It stays on through handwashing and showers, yet I have had no trouble removing the strip, without pain, when I want to.

I'll start this off by saying that medical items should absolutely NOT hurt you worse than you already were. I would give these things zero stars if I could. My family has had a box or two of these floating around for some time, as we own a cat who can be very crabby at times and I personally have a motor skill based disorder that makes it so I get hurt on things a lot. For example, I recently had a rather large cut on my shoulder. I put one of these bandages on it. Imagine my surprise at the intense pain removing it. When I actually looked at the area it was like I had been stuck with a branding poker in the shape of a band-aid, and I had blood dripping down my arm. I literally had flakes of skin peeling off of my shoulder, and the scab was ripped entirely off because I managed to get a tiny bit of the adhesive part on the cut itself. We only had these so I just had to keep using them on the cut. The skin was bright red and remains visibly damaged three weeks later, you can still see/feel the outline and the differing skin texture. I also currently have a cut on my chest, and we don't have any other bandages currently, so I used one of these. I removed it yesterday and it's still bright red as if I had a rash of some sort, and a section where it overlapped another scar still burns a bit. I have only slightly sensitive skin, so I'm afraid for anyone with very sensitive skin. You can actually see the removed skin on the adhesive parts of the bandage. It's gruesome, to say the least. I've resorted to simply cleaning the wound every hour or so because I'm afraid of any extra damage these evil little things will do to me, until we can run to Walgreen's. It should also be noted that lots of glue and orange and white fabric threads were left over and I had to peel it all off with tweezers. TLDR: Not recommended. It damaged my skin badly and made me bleed when it ripped off my skin. Leaves glue and fiber residue behind. I am legitimately mad.

The adhesive on these is far too strong. Literally ripped the top layer of my skin off when removing. Quite painful.

Super glue bandaid.

Don’t usually leave reviews for products but this one was worth warning other people about. It took me a whole 30 minutes taking off this bandaid because it felt like I was literally ripping my skin off. Now the area where the adhesive stuck is very red, sensitive and super sticky. I used this bandaid to cover stitches and I was very worried the whole time that I would pull the stitches. Never using these again.
