ripped skin off

Review Questions:
State: California
Age: 18-24
Review Text:
I had cut my arm at work and bought these because i figured they would work and stay put. well they did stay put and when taking them off it hurt more than the actual cut that i had originally had. it ripped my skin off and now my arm is all bruised and irritated. it kind of looks like a burn. hurts more than it did in the first place. i’ll probably stick to generic brand band aids for now on.

They stay put

Review Questions:
State: Kentucky
Age: 25-34
Review Text:
These are the greatest general bandage for everyday usage. You can count on them to stay on for over 24 hours (though for proper wound healing they should be changed daily). Some reviewers have commented on the bandage removing skin, my solution was to remove them in the shower. No pain. They are especially great at covering wounds in places that experience moisture.

The only bandage that stays on

Review Questions:
State: Ohio
Age: 25-34
Review Text:
This has been my go-to bandage for the past 12 years. I cut my fingers a lot in my field of work and nothing beats the good old fashioned cloth band aid branded bandage. It’s flexible and stays on until I want it off! To remove it though, rubbing alcohol is needed to dissolve the adhesive, it’s strong!

adhesive too strong, fabric too weak

Review Questions:
State: Virginia
Age: 45-54
Review Text:
They're like super gluing a drunken kindergartener's failed macramé project to your wound. After an hour the fabric waive starts to full apart and then you'll have to give up three layers of skin if you want to put a fresh one on.

Adhesive too strong

I had one of these band aids on my arm, and when I ripped it off, it also ripped off the top layers of skin where the adhesive was, causing welting, bruising, and bleeding. I will never use one of these again.

Bionic Band-Aids!

Review Questions:
State: North Carolina
Age: 45-54
Review Text:
I had a nasty cut on my ring finger that would split open every time I bumped it. I'd used other brands for 2 days but they failed to stay stuck. I tried one of these tough strips and was thoroughly impressed! I took my tough strip boating in the ICW, NC. We anchored on a sand bank and we played all day I the ocean surf, picked up baby horseshoe crabs and hermit crabs. At one point I had crinkles on my fingers and the tough strip held tight. At the end of a fun filled day I had to put some effort in to peeling it off, that tough strip had superior stickability! I was very impressed with that little guys resilience. These tough strips are the only band aids I will eve buy from now on.

Removing this Band-Aid added to my recovery time

Review Questions:
State: North Carolina
Age: 45-54
Review Text:
The adhesive on these is waaaaay to strong. Covered an area on my stomach where I had a mole removed. Later that day, tried to remove it so I could dress the area and ripped 2 strips of skin off adjacent to the original wound. This exposed raw skin. I am still trying to recover from those and have ruined shirts because I am unable to put anything on the areas so they are bleeding/seeping. These need a warning label and an advisory of where they can or cannot be used. I grew up using Band-Aid brand but am seriously traumatized over this. These might be good to use on household repairs if you are out of duct tape but should not be used on the skin. I have pictures if anyone at Band-Aid wants or cares to see them.
