BAND-AID® Brand hydrocolloid bandages can stay on for multiple days. You can wear each PRO HEAL® 5 DAY PROTECT bandage for up to 5 days or until it falls off. Replace the bandage if the bandage begins to lift or becomes soiled.

While wearing a PRO HEAL® 5 DAY PROTECT bandage, the white bubble forms because the hydrocolloid slowly and efficiently absorbs wound moisture as part of the healing process.

As your wound continues to heal under the bandage, this bubble will grow in size. The white bubble means the healing process is at work, so you should not remove the bandage prior to Day 5.

If the bandage falls off before Day 5, gently clean and dry the area. Then apply a new bandage and continue use until healing is complete.

No. It’s best not to use ointments or creams under PRO HEAL® hydrocolloid bandages. For optimal performance, apply the bandage to clean, dry skin, as ointments can interfere with how well it sticks and works.
